The world of theater , That of cognitive neuroscience, psychophysiology of and arts therapies meet in a major event organized by the Department of Performing Arts and Sciences of the University Sapienza of Rome: Second International Symposium Dialogues between theater and neuroscience.
The conference is an opportunity for reflection, dialogue and interchange between research areas that today are usually far more areas of collaboration. If it is true that the cognitive neuroscience and psychophysiology bring the ' Action the center of the phenomena of perception, understanding, respect of human beings, it is also true that the theater 's action and report have always been based on . The actor-audience relationship represents a unique place for neuroscience and particular study of the human . Similarly the study of the dynamics of neuro-psycho-physiological processes that fuel the perception of action and can help the theatrical cultures with new tools to investigate the pragmatic know who is behind the 'art of the .
The successful experience of the 2009 conference led to the publication of volume Dialogues between Neuroscience and Theatre (Rome, Edizioni Alegre, 2009) which will be presented in ' preview March 15, followed by a performance and a demonstration of work. The 16:17 March from 9.00 will begin the conference this year real returns enhanced by a broader range of guests and interventions. Discussion
The meeting between the theatrical cultures and neuroscience is now one of the vanguards of theatrical research. In fact, it reflects the heritage of over thirty years of contamination between actors, directors, teachers, students of theater, biologists and neuroscientists. The audacity of the proposal, however, has often made it difficult to accept the academic world of both area, often relegated to the theater-only therapy. That is one of the ambitions of the conference is to sit around a table filmmakers, actors, educators, neuroscientists, psychologists, therapists point of view of interdisciplinary dialogue. But not only. The spirit behind the conference is also to never miss the pragmatic points of reference so you can talk at the same time and those who do academic research and those who research their lives every day in the laboratory, theater or science that is .

Like last year, the conference is preceded by the laboratory investigation performative structures and processes of creativity , for students of the University Sapienza of Rome. The objective of the workshop is to seek those principles in practice, those dynamics, those relationships which are then analyzed from several points of view during the conference. Last year the laboratory has led to the permanent group of performative inquiry Emigrated Laboratory, who will present his first job in the ' preview of the conference.
