One-month residency on writing theater in Sardinia, with Claudia Castellucci and Chiara Guidi .
Villas Matte - Writing be held for the first edition from September 17 to October 17, 2010 in the town of Orroli (CA), in the spaces of the House Carrus, with moments of study and practice in the theatrical space of the local library and territory.
The residency program will select a group of artists from more than ten national and international operations, providing food, accommodation and places of work and study.
The 2010 program is entitled "The dramatic work emerge sync" and you will see as a visiting professor Claudia Castellucci Raffaello Sanzio of Socìetas as assistants Stefano Bartolini, Philip caps and Marco Villari and outside guests as Chiara Guidi and two other guests who will be selected based on areas of interest of the artists selected for the residency program.
addition to the general theory of drama, will be three branches of investigation also examined in the practical phases of Residence:
· branch descriptive
· branch visual
· branch auditory
The research will focus on the suggesting specificity of theater studies, lectures, plays and views, and ask students to produce a dramatic composition of text to be put to the test, at least in part. This exercise will help to develop the composition, and critical hermeneutics. The impression is therefore purely theoretical, but it is essential to make regular exercise. Practice means to try to translate ideas into reality, so as to instantly check their holdings on the scene. And proportionate means to weigh all the elements of theater writing (interpretation, music, stage, lights, costumes) actually on the scene.
theoretical topics to be addressed in the search path will be:
· Theory of drama
· Ecfrasi or exercise description
· iconology and filmography, or exercise of attention to the images
· musicology, dramatic, or exemplary or illustrative exercise plays
· Composition voice, or the exercise of dramatic rhythm in the human vocal
· psychology movement
The work will end with the final event of the presentation, scheduled for October 16, and a publication in Italian and English by Kaleidoscope, reflecting the period of training and research.
