Ermir Krantja remains at the helm of the historic band of Francavilla Fontana biography
Born in Tirana in March 1947. Son of art. His father, M. Krantja (conductor), a pupil and assistant V. Talich Music Academy in Prague, the first director to have founded the Albanian orchestral institutions in Albania after the war. He continued training at the Academy of Arts (Tirana), studying conducting under the guidance of his father, and musicology in the class of orchestration and choral conducting with Zadeja K. Trak. He graduated in 1970 with honors from the Academy of Arts in Tirana, assuming the post of conductor of the Albanian Radio and Television where he is busy directing concerts, art in public and recordings. For the 'occasion of the bicentenary of Mozart's death, he directed his Requiem with the choir of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio Television Skopje (Macedonia) with soloists from Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia - Herzegovina, and Macedonia. Since 1991 he is artistic director of Theatre Art of Tirana and is in this period that runs in concert with America Tulary Symphony Orchestra (California) had on this occasion the opportunity to study and learn a wealth of experience in organizational and artistic institutions such as the 'Opera San Francisco, the Metropolitan in New York and Chicago Sinfony Orchestra through a program designed by "The United States Information Agency (Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affaires). Since 1992, directs the Grand Concert Hall "city of Francavilla Fontana.
In 1993 he made a tour with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Tirana in various cities of Italy (music by Mercadante, Rossini, E. Grieg, Brahms, and Mahler Bethoveen).
At the conference on "The New NATO in post war - the Cold", organized by the "Comite Quality of Atlantic Organizations", in collaboration with the Centre Euxine Balkan Danube " the University of Bari Symphony Orchestra Philharmonia Mediterranea has performed in the Basilica Pontificia San Nicola di Bari with two symphonic poems, "One Hundred Lands" and "Mediterranean Colors," the composer G. Desiante premiere. He has recorded for RAI and Mediaset (Canale 5), in colaboration with Czeck National Symphony Orchestra (Prague), respectively, the scores of fiction "by Leo 2 Days" and "This is my land," the music of Savio Riccardi, realizing a CD by RTISpAdivisione Cinema
